If you are setting up a nursery for the first time, you may be wondering what a crib sheet is and how it differs from the sheets on your own bed. Here is the short version.
A crib sheet is a fitted sheet for a crib mattress
A crib sheet is a sheet made to the size of a crib mattress. It has elastic around the edge, so it wraps around the corners of the mattress and stays in place. That is also why you will see it called a fitted crib sheet.
What our crib sheets are made of
Little & Sweet crib sheets are hand-sewn from a jersey knit of 96% polyester and 4% spandex. Each one has a reinforced elastic fitted lining and deep pockets. The design is printed with dye sublimation, so the print does not fade.
Which sizes do crib sheets come in?
We make two sizes: mini crib sheets at 24 x 38 inches and standard crib sheets at 28 x 52 inches. Our crib sheet size guide explains how to measure your mattress.
How to care for a crib sheet
Hand wash your crib sheet, do not bleach it and let it line dry. If you want to iron or steam it, use low heat. Do not dry clean.
Finding a crib sheet you love
